Woods Compact Super Seeder (New Product Release)

These are all common words used to describe the quality and capabilities of Woods Equipment. They’ve now taken those words to a new level with a brand new product launch: the Woods Compact Super Seeder.

Details and Uses

The Woods Super Seeder was recently launched in two models (which you can read all about below): the CSS48 and CSS60. It will immediately become your go-to machine for cultivation and planting. You’ll have the ability to prep the soil, drop the seeds at two different depths, and firm the soil – all at one shot.  It was also designed to be compatible with tractors, ATVs, and UTVs – so this machine is equipped for just about any seeding job.

The machine also features dual seed boxes, which allow you to plant seeds both small and large. Planting large seeds from kidney beans and corn to oats and soybeans is a breeze with the Super Seeder. Add in smaller seeds like bermuda, kale, and switchgrass, and you have a very versatile piece of equipment.

Other features that come standard on both models include: calibration system, windowed seed cups, clear PVC tubes, and a very simple disconnect.

Woods CSS48 Super Seeder: Specs & Features

The smaller model, the CSS48, has a working width of 48 inches and an overall width of 57 inches. It requires a 15-35 horsepower tractor engine, or a minimum 350cc ATV/UTV engine, for proper operation. The machine features 6 seed cups, a capacity of 1 bushel for both seed boxes, and a CAT 1/Limited CAT 1 3-point tractor hitch.

Woods CSS60 Super Seeder: Specs & Features

The larger model, the CSS60, has a 60-inch working width and a 69-inch overall width. It requires a 20-45 horsepower tractor engine, or a minimum 400cc ATV/UTV engine, for proper operation. The machine features 8 seed cups, a capacity of 1.25 bushels for both seed boxes, and a CAT 1/Limited CAT 1 3-point tractor hitch.
